The activity of the group is devoted to the study of the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation anisotropies and diffuse and point-like astronomical sources, at infrared and millimetric wavelength.
The OASI group takes its name from the Submillimetric and Infrared Antarctic Observatory (Osservatorio Antartico Submillimetrico e Infrarosso), which is the main project.
