…the aim of the Association "School of Neutron Scattering Francesco Paolo Ricci" is to promote, support and encourage, on the national territory, initiatives in the field of Science, Technology and Culture. With this, it is intention of the association to keep alive the thought of Prof. Francesco Paolo Ricci and to carry on his work in favor of the neutron scattering community, especially concerning the training of young scientists. To achieve its aims, the Association will contribute to the education of students and young researchers and to the development of multidisciplinary projects involving neutron scattering techniques and its applications. The Association will moreover organize and promote schools, courses, seminars, conferences, workshops, symposia, meetings and every other cultural initiative in the field of neutron spectroscopy. The Association will support and popularize scientific information in its field of interest, through publications, books, monographs, videotapes and information systems. The Association will also organize meetings with private citizens and public or private operators about scientific and technological topics, in order to awaken them to the new requirements of advanced research…
